Sunday: Delhi (Departure 16:00 hrs)-
The tour begins in the evening at 16:00 hrs. On your arrival at the Safdarjung Railway Station, enjoy the ceremonial greetings with traditional aarti and tilak with garlanding. After check-in our representative escorts you to the respective cabins. After all the guests are accommodated the Royal Rajasthan on wheels pulls out into the night at its scheduled time, for a week long journey cruising through the fascinating Rajasthan. Relish a sumptuous dinner and a comfortable overnight onboard.

Monday: Jodhpur (Arrival: 07:30 hrs. Departure 16:30 hrs)-
On the 2nd day of the journey arrival in Jodhpur is marked at 06:00 hours. Post breakfast, start for a sightseeing tour of Jodhpur- a city ringed by a high stone wall and featuring seven gates and several bastions. The major tourist attractions of Jodhpur include Moti Mahal, Jaswant Thada, Sheesh Mahal, Saulat Khana, Mehrangarh Fort and the Umaid Bhawan Palace. After the visit, enjoy lunch at a 5 star palace hotel. Later in the day enjoy shopping for exquisite handicraft articles like breeches, embroidered shoes, metal curios, silverwares and tie and dye fabrics. Return to the train by 15:30 hours and wait for it to finally chug its way out of the station.

Tuesday: Udaipur – Chittorgarh (Arrival: 07:00 hrs. Departure 22:00 hrs)-
On the 3rd day of the journey this super luxury train reaches Udiapur the city of Lakes at 07:00 hrs. Enjoy breakfast aboard the train. Embark on a guided tour to the major tourist attractions of Udaipur. The major tourist attractions of Udaipur include Saheliyon Ki Baari and the City Palace Complex. Also visit the other two beautiful landmarks of Udaipur the Lake Palace and the Jag Mandir located on Lake Pichola. Enjoy boating at Lake Pichola. Return to the train after boating and carry on with the train journey to the next location Chittorgarh. The major attractions to visit in Chittorgarh include Vijay Stambh, Kirti Stambh and the Padmini Palace. Halt for a high tea break at the fort restaurant and afterwards proceed for light and sound show at the fort. Return to the train by 22:00 hrs.

Wednesday: Sawai Madhopur – Jaipur (Arrival: 05:30 hrs. Departure 22:15 hrs)-
On the 4th day of the tour Royal Rajasthan on Wheels reaches Sawai Madhopur at 05:30 hrs. It is the nearest base to proceed to Ranthambore National Park. Set off for an early morning jungle walk at the Ranthambore National Park to observe the animals from close quarters in their natural habitat. In the middle of the wildlife setting enjoy a sumptuous breakfast. Return to the train for the onwards journey to Jaipur, one of the most well planned cities of the world of its time.

On reaching Jaipur, set off to visit the major tourist attraction housed by the city. During the half-day city tour visit attractions including City Palace, Hawa Mahal and the Royal Observatory. This is followed by a visit to Amer Fort on Caparisoned elephants. Then visit the local market of Jaipur to shop for souvenirs. Enjoy dinner in a city hotel before returning to the train to travel to the next destination Khajuraho, on the Royal Rajasthan on Wheels itinerary.

Thursday: Khajuraho (Arrival: 10:00 hrs. Departure 17:00 hrs)-
Next day of the tour the train reaches Khajuraho at 10:00 hrs. This sleepy town receives large number of travelers from all corners of the world to visit its ancient temples and the exotic designs that are a prominent feature of these temples. Explore the Western group of temples for the impeccable designing done on them. Enjoy lunch at a 5 star palace hotel, which is followed by visit to the Southern group of temples. Return to the train for high tea, and then proceed to visit the light and sound show at the temple. Enjoy dinner onboard.

Friday: Varanasi (Arrival: 06:00 hrs. Departure 21:00 hrs)-
On the 6th day of this splendid journey the Royal Rajasthan on Wheels arrives in Varanasi at 06:00 hrs. This temple tour is famous for its bathing ghats, numerous sages and temples. Immediately after arrival in Varanasi, get off the train to enjoy a boat ride on the pious river of Ganga. Then head to a guided tour to Varanasi. The major tourist attractions of Varanasi include Jyotirlinga Visvanatha temple, Ramnagar Fort and the Ganga ghat. Return to the train for to relish a sumptuous breakfast. This is followed by a visit to Sarnath. The place is famous for its Buddhist stupas and caves. Enjoy lunch served in a premier restaurant after which return to the train for rest and relaxation. In the evening head to visit pious ghats of Varanasi and after attending Maha Aarti on the banks of Ganga return to the train to proceed to Agra the last destination in the circuit.

Saturday: Agra (Arrival: 10:00 hrs. Departure 21:00 hrs)-
Today visit Agra, the city that houses the Taj Mahal- an epitome of beauty and love. This seventh wonder of the world was commissioned by Mughal Emperor Saha Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Then proceed for a city tour to the major tourist attractions of Agra. The major attractions of Agra include Agra Fort, Tomb of Akbar, Chini ka Rauza, Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah and Ram Bagh. Later in the day move out for a shopping sphere in the local Agra market that is famous for its handicrafts product, inlay work of marvel, brass-wear and carpets. Dinner and overnight stay onboard the train. Travel down to Delhi to bring the tour to an end.

Sunday: Delhi (Arrival: 04.00 hrs)-
Arrival at the Safdarjung railway station is marked at 04:00hrs. An on-board breakfast is served at around 7:00 hrs, followed by checkout and farewell formalities.
